Greater Vision Concert Press Release
Gospel Music’s Most Awarded Trio, Greater Vision (USA) will soon be on their way to Belfast for a not to be missed concert which will be held in Whitewell Metropolitan Church on Saturday, 30th October.
Special guest on the night will be Allison Durham Speer (USA), and the Whitewell choir will also be taking part.
Greater Vision are celebrating 20years in gospel music this year and over the years have established a firm place at the pinnacle of Christian music. Such is the demand for their rich harmony, they appear at almost 200 events each year.
Gerald Wolfe, lead singer, has been named favourite Male Volcalist 7 times. He was the pianist for the Cathedrals Quartet, who visited Belfast several times from 1986 to 1988. After performing solo for 2 years he formed Greater Vision with former Cathedral member Mark Trammell and Chris Allman.
The group’s baritone, Rodney Griffin joined in 1993 to replace Mark. He is a prolific songwriter and has been named song writer of the year every year since 1998. The tenor, Chris Allman, also a song writer, was the original tenor with Greater Vision and after a few years break has rejoined the group. Greater Vision have been named Gospel Music’s favourite trio by the Singing News Magazine and Southern Gospel Music Association.
Allison Durham Speer has been to Northern Ireland on a number of occasions and has been very well received each time.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are now available from Faith Mission Bookshops (Ballymena, Belfast & Portadown), Ards Evangelical Bookshops, Bethel Bookshop (Magherafelt), Whitewell Metropolitan Church and in our Online Store ... Price only £14
