HeavenBound In The Heavens!!

Last Saturday (2nd February) saw a VERY early start for Joanne, Vivienne and Louise!! We arrived at Belfast City Airport at 6.45 am for our flight to Edinburgh which, thankfully, was not delayed by the ice or snow! The flight was a little bumpy but we came down from the heavens safely!
We left a rather 'white' Northern Ireland for our engagements in Livingston, Scotland, and were greeted by Doug and Sybil Scott on the 'other side'!! They looked after us well all weekend, as did Ian and Elaine Hilditch who put us up (or should that be PUT UP with us!!).
Saturday was busy with us having soundchecks, meeting other artists, and of course eating!! Doug and Sybil took us to a Chinese buffet - I think they'd been told of our liking of Chinese food - I guess anyone who knows us knows about that!!
Following a time of prayer with those taking part, the concert commenced at 7pm. Right from the start we could sense the Lord's presence and He had His hand in what was happening - it was amazing to hear how the pieces sung and things said all fitted together just as we'd prayed.
Those taking part were Ministry in Song (a gospel trio from Central Scotland who we'd met at Fraserburgh gospel music convention), Vicky Blair (a very talented trumpet player who has been Scottish champion numerous times) and Jim Close (soloist).
Most importantly there were those there outside of Christ - please continue to pray with us for their salvation.
On Sunday morning we took part in the service at Ladywell Baptist Church, Livingston before leaving for home again later that afternoon. Again we shared fellowship with some of those who'd attended the concert and other brothers and sisters there.
We would like to take this opportunity via our website to thank all of those who made us feel so welcome in Livingston. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with you all and we were truly blessed to have had the opportunity to share with you. God bless.
