Like a beacon piercing the midnight sky,
A star in the east beckoned kings to draw nigh.
Precious gifts to bestow, true worship to impart...
Each step a reflection of the joy in their heart.
For God reached down from heaven that night
To give the world love's purest light...
A candle for the heart of man,
