Greater Vision Return To Northrn Ireland

19th July 2011
We are pleased to confirm that Greater Vision (USA) will soon be making a returning visit to Belfast for a not to be missed gosepel concert which will be held in Glenmachan Church of God on Saturday, 19th November.

Greater Vision made their first visit to Northern Ireland in October last year (2010) and were very well received. They sang in concert at Whitewell Metropolitan Church along with Mrs Allison Durham Speer (USA).

The group have been singing for over 20years in gospel music and over the years have established a firm place at the pinnacle of Christian music. Such is the demand for their rich harmony, they appear at almost 200 events each year and are delighted to add Northern Ireland to the list.

Gerald Wolfe, lead singer, has been named favourite Male Volcalist 7 times. He was the pianist for the Cathedrals Quartet, who visited Belfast several times from 1986 to 1988. After performing solo for 2 years he formed Greater Vision with former Cathedral member Mark Trammell and Chris Allman.

The group’s baritone, Rodney Griffin joined in 1993 to replace Mark. He is a prolific songwriter and has been named song writer of the year every year since 1998. The tenor, Chris Allman, also a song writer, was the original tenor with Greater Vision and after a few years break has rejoined the group. Greater Vision have been named Gospel Music’s favourite trio by the Singing News Magazine and Southern Gospel Music Association.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are now available from Faith Mission Bookshops, Ards Evangelical Bookshop, Glenmachan Church Office (Tel No. 028 9076 1676 and E: office@glenmachan.org), and in our Online Store (from monday, 1st August)... Price only £15

Come along and enjoy a great evening of gospel music.
