A Busy But Blessed Weekend

16th October 2007
Fri 12th October saw the start of a busy weekend for HeavenBound but we praise God we can say it was a very blessed weekend for us.

Friday night was the first release night for Rev McCrea’s new recording and it was great to join with many friends again to sing God’s praises. We sang the title track from our CD, The Power Of The Cross, and again God used the words to challenge us and remind us of the Great Sacrifice made for us at Calvary. A good time of fellowship was had by all.

Saturday we travelled to Calvary Baptist, Dee St, Belfast, not far from Vivienne and Alan’s home. The church was packed out for their harvest praise service and from the outset the presence of the Lord could be felt. The congregation joined in as the other artists and ourselves sang – it was a blessing just to praise God together!

To round off the weekend we went to Aughnacloy Free Presbyterian Church for their harvest service. It was an early start, as Aughnacloy is an hour and a half’s drive away (that’s travelling under the law and NOT under grace!!). Again we enjoyed a night of blessing with the people at the church there – not to mention the lovely cream cake afterwards!!

The End!! (of this one anyway!!)
